What about my ski pass?
Ski Passes - There are two main types of 'Morzine Ski Area' passes: the Portes du Soleil Ski Pass (full area) and the Morzine-Les Gets Ski Pass (local area). The Portes du Soleil Pass covers 12 different ski villages from Les Gets all the way across to the Swiss resorts. The Morzine Ski Pass is just for the local Morzine and Les Gets area, excluding the Super Morzine, Prodains & Ardent lifts, which are part of the Avoriaz lift system. Most skiers buy the six-day Portes du Solei pass as this allows you to explore more pistes, mountain restaurants & bars and the neighbouring resorts without having to worry if you've 'crossed a border'.
The hotel offers a discount for ski-jivers of 10% if you book with them on arrival. It is recommended to keep an eye on when the 2020 season passes go on sale however, as they offer larger discounts for early bookings.
Ski hire or bring our own?
Either of the 2 is fine it is completely up to you. Hotel le Cret has an in-house ski/sports store that will offer a 20% discount for ski-jivers that book upon arrival. Again, best to look online in advance as they can sometimes offer better discounts for pre-booking online - https://mathias.sport2000.fr/uk/stores/919
If you'd prefer to pack and bring your own skis/boots and or board, we are happy to arrange extra ski carriage for your flights. Let us know in advance and we pass the cost from the airline onto your booking.

About the people who go on Club Dance Holidays
- How many people generally go on one of our Dance Holidays? - this can vary depending on the break you're booking. We have groups from 15 up to 700! The Ski Jive usually has a great group of between 30 - 65.
- What age are people who go on a Dance Holiday? - A dance holiday is for all ages. Dancing, travel and adventure are non-discriminatory and absolutely everyone is welcome whatever their age. If you have any concerns about a specific holiday or event please give our reservations team a call.
- I'm coming on my own - will I find this a problem? - absolutely not! We get many single traveller bookings and we gender balance our holidays to ensure there is a good mix for workshops and freestyles.
About budget and pricing
- How much do I need to budget for - This can depend on your personal spending habits ;) Remember that a buffet breakfast and dinner is included in the price, so you may want a bit of money for your lunch and drinks during the day, plus for any shopping you may want to par take in Morzine. The currency used is euros so best to check out where you can get a competitive exchange rate before you go.
- Is there a supplement if I choose a single room? - Hotels tend to charge a room rate rather than a rate per person. This means that if you wish to have a room to yourself there will be a supplement to pay (since our prices are based on one person sharing a twin room). If you would prefer to share a room (thus avoiding the supplement), we can find you a (same sex) roommate for the duration of the holiday.
About dates, flights and travel
- Can I join the holiday on different dates? - Should you wish to arrive early or extend your stay, contact our Reservations Team to enquire about availability and extra night supplements. It is not possible to join a group once the holiday has commenced.
- What happens when I arrive at the Airport? - A Dance Holidays Airport transfer to and from your Hotel on the start and finish dates of the holiday is included. Most transfer times are based around London flight arrival and departure times. Please ring reservations to find out the transfer timings. If you are traveling from a regional airport or from outside the UK, we will try to ensure that your flight coincides with the transfers.
- I don't live in the UK - do I have to start my holiday from the UK? - You can join our programme from wherever you are in the world direct to your chosen destination - we offer flight exclusive prices on all holidays to give you this flexibility.
About groups travelling together
- Is there a discount available if I bring a group? - We offer different incentives and packages for group bookings. Please ring our Reservations Team at 0207 099 4816 for details.
About children and non-participating travel companions
- Do you offer discounts for children? - This will depend on the individual Hotel policy. Please ring our Reservations Team for information.
- Is there a discount for friends/partners who don't wish to take part? - On some holidays there is a discount available for those accompanying a dancer, who don't themselves wish to join the dance classes (please speak to the Reservations Team to see whether there is a discount available on the trip you are interested in). They can happily join the rest of the itinerary that we organise.
