Ski Passes – What Do I Need?
There are two main ski pass options available in Morzine, and choosing the right one depends on how much of the area you’d like to explore.
Morzine–Les Gets Ski Pass (Local Area)
This pass covers the local Morzine and Les Gets ski areas. It’s ideal for relaxed skiing close to home but does not include access to the Super Morzine, Prodains or Ardent lifts, which connect to Avoriaz.
Portes du Soleil Ski Pass (Full Area)
This is the most popular choice among our guests. It gives you access to the entire Portes du Soleil ski area — one of the largest linked ski regions in the world — covering 12 resorts across France and Switzerland. With this pass, you can ski further afield, enjoy a wider variety of pistes, and explore mountain restaurants and bars without worrying about crossing borders.
Most skiers choose the 6-day Portes du Soleil pass for maximum flexibility and variety.
Ski pass discount:
Our hotel partner offers a 10% discount on ski passes. Ski passes are arranged on a pre-booking basis: simply let us know which pass you’d like in advance, and you can collect and pay for it directly at the hotel on arrival. We’ll confirm prices and options closer to the holiday date.
Ski Hire – Bring Your Own or Hire Locally?
Both options are absolutely fine — the choice is entirely yours.
Hiring skis or snowboards
Hotel Le Crêt has an in-house ski and sports shop, offering convenience and great value. Guests who pre-book online receive a 20% discount. We’ll send you a booking link closer to the holiday, but you can also view the shop here:

Bringing your own equipment
If you’d prefer to travel with your own skis, boots or snowboard, we can arrange additional ski carriage on your flights. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll add the airline cost directly to your booking.
About the People on Our Dance Holidays
How many people attend a Ski Jive holiday?
Group sizes vary depending on the event. Across our holidays, groups range from around 15 up to 700 guests. Ski Jive typically attracts between 30 and 65 dancers, although recent years have sold out at around 85 attendees. Due to this demand, we’re now running two back-to-back weeks to allow more people to join.
What age are the guests?
Dance holidays truly are for all ages. Dancing, travel and adventure are for everyone, and we welcome guests of all ages. If you have any concerns about whether a particular holiday is right for you, our Reservations Team will be happy to advise.
I’m travelling on my own — will that be an issue?
Not at all. Many of our guests travel solo. We carefully gender-balance our holidays to ensure a great mix for workshops and freestyle dancing, and our friendly group atmosphere makes it easy to meet people.
Budget & Pricing
How much spending money should I budget?
This depends on your personal habits 😉. Breakfast and dinner are included, so you’ll mainly need money for lunches on the mountain, drinks, and any shopping in Morzine. The local currency is euros, so we recommend arranging a competitive exchange rate before you travel.
Is there a supplement for single rooms?
Yes. Hotels charge per room rather than per person, so if you’d like a room to yourself, a single occupancy supplement applies. Our holiday prices are based on sharing a twin room. If you’d prefer to avoid the supplement, we’re happy to arrange a same-sex roommate for you.
Dates, Flights & Travel
Can I arrive early or stay longer?
If you’d like to arrive early or extend your stay, please contact our Reservations Team to check availability and any additional night supplements. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to join a holiday once it has already started.
What happens when I arrive at the airport?
Return airport transfers between Geneva Airport and your hotel are included on the official start and end dates of the holiday when flights are booked through us. Transfer times are usually scheduled around London flight arrivals and departures. If you’re travelling from a regional airport or overseas, we’ll do our best to align your flights with the transfers.
I don’t live in the UK — can I still join?
Absolutely. You can join us from anywhere in the world and travel directly to the destination. We offer flight‑exclusive prices to give you flexibility.
Please note: due to the long transfer time (approximately 1 hour 30–45 minutes) and complex logistics, airport transfers can only be guaranteed when flights are booked as part of our package. If you book without flights, transfer availability cannot be guaranteed.
Groups Travelling Together
Is there a group booking discount?
We offer a range of incentives and tailored packages for group bookings. Please contact our Reservations Team on 0207 099 4816 for more details.
Children & Non‑Dancing Companions
Do you offer discounts for children?
This depends on the individual hotel’s policy. Please contact our Reservations Team for specific details.
Is there a discount for partners or friends who don’t dance?
While non‑dancing partners are very welcome to join us, we’re unable to offer discounts for not participating in the dance programme. That said… it might be the perfect opportunity for them to give it a try 😉.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
